From a submission pool of 270 photographers, Juror Alison Nordström selected the following ten artists for inclusion inEXPOSURE 2012:

“We need look no further than the 2012 EXPOSURE selections to affirm that photography is alive and well, more diverse than ever in medium, approach and intention and tellingly aware of its own history and inherent capabilities. This is as true for the ten finalists as for most of the other submissions that could not be chosen. The overall quality of the work is high and the artists understand how their chosen medium can realize their ideas like no other.”
